High Quality Early Childhood Education set in the heart of clayton

At Legendary, we always strived to create groundbreaking projects and this goal was clearly exemplified in our first ever commercial project. It’s the intersection of creativity, design and execution, with an eye on the practical considerations of timing and budgets that resulted in a successful project.

In 2013 Legendary entered into an agreement to construct a built to suit building and signed a 20-year lease with Brightpath Early Learning & Child Care. Brightpath is a child care provider who’s model of care is to provide the best, intellectual, social and physical child development programs, delivered by capable and nurturing staff within the best environments.

The Brightpath Early Learning & Child Care Center is located in the heart of the Clayton Heights neighbourhood in Surrey, BC. This architecturally designed building is situated to provide a physical environment that is safe, developmental, clean, healthy and child friendly. This architecturally designed building features 18,209 square feet of learning space and over 12,000 square feet of artificial turf play area that is safe for children.

  • The exterior offers over 12,000 square feet of artificial turf play area that is safe for children
     
  • The site is surrounded by roads on all four sides which provides two different access points to and from the site, facilitating the ideal pick up and drop off conditions for parents
     
  • The building’s exterior matches the character and design of the neighborhood enhancing the buildings visual appeal
     
  • To further enhance the architectural design of the building our team has incorporated a few box outs on the face of the structure as opposed to a flat frontage design
     
  • The design of the building allows for a total capacity of over 200 children and 20 full time staff members at any one time
     
  • Across the street there are two new commercial buildings which contain a variety of amenities such as: grocery store, pharmacy, dental offices and other retail outlets
